The Story Behind Meredith Jane Events

Meredith Jane Events has been a long time in the making.

I planned my first event over 13 years ago, coordinating college race weekends with nothing but spreadsheets, enthusiasm, and way too much caffeine. After that I planned large community events for Grapevine Parks + Rec. From there, I moved into corporate event management, working on everything from large-scale conferences to major sports partnerships. Those experiences taught me the balance between creativity and logistics- how to think ten steps ahead, how to bring big ideas to life, and most importantly, how to make people feel something when they walk into a space.

Even in planning for big brands and large crowds, I always crave connection. Something more personal. I wanted to focus on the moments that truly matter- the kind where you know everyone in the room, and every detail tells a piece of someone’s story.

That’s how Meredith Jane Events was born- out of a love for meaningful celebration and genuine connection. Today, I plan weddings, retreats, and gatherings in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and beyond. My approach is simple: create experiences that feel like you- joyful, intentional, and beautifully effortless.

Whether it’s a mountain wedding, a quiet weekend retreat, or a long-overdue family gathering, I believe every event deserves thoughtful design and honest hospitality.

This work isn’t just about planning events- it’s about celebrating people. And that’s something I never get tired of.
